#WalkforFreedom2024

Since 2021, Magdalene's Gate has proudly partnered with A21 to host an annual Human Trafficking Awareness Walk, and we are continually moved by the overwhelming support that extends far beyond our local community. Year after year, we welcome participants from all around Georgia who join our Gwinnett County families, local businesses, faith communities, and concerned citizens in taking a stand against human trafficking. The growing attendance from across the state demonstrates Georgia's unwavering commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and educating others about this critical issue. This year's event was particularly impactful, featuring powerful speakers who brought both expertise and heartfelt testimony that resonated deeply with all who attended. Through this collaborative effort, we are not only raising awareness but building a stronger, more informed statewide community that actively works to prevent human trafficking and support survivors. We are grateful for the continued partnership with A21 and the dedicated participants from across Georgia who make this annual walk a powerful testament to our collective commitment to justice and protection for all.

Magdalene's Gate is excited to share that we had an incredible opportunity to partner with A21 and host the Walk for Freedom once again this year!  Walk For Freedom is a powerful day of global awareness and local action in the fight against human trafficking. Together, we stood alongside amazing individuals who are dedicated to raising awareness in their own communities.

A special shoutout to our generous sponsors this year: Sprouts, Staples, Lawrence Ink., and Creme de la Creme Daycare. Your support made a significant difference! We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing ladies from the Gwinnett Police Department who ensured our safety and provided unwavering support throughout the walk.

We are already looking forward to doing this walk again next year! If you have any questions or would like to get involved, don't hesitate to contact us. Together, let's continue to make a difference! Remember, the fight against human trafficking starts with awareness.

#WalkForfreedom2021

On October 16th, 2021, Magdalene’s Gate hosted A21’s global #Walkforfreedom in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. On this day, these amazing people showed up to bring awareness to human trafficking in our community. Our steps brought a hidden crime into plain sight. Our mission at Magdalene’s Gate is to prevent sex trafficking in children. This walk gave us the opportunity to align with another organization to assist with this goal. We appreciate the volunteers that came and we hope to see you all next year as we continue to stand up for those still enslaved in human trafficking.

Fundraising Event

Magdalene’s Gate had a fundraiser to raise funds for a shelter for teen girls in Metro-Atlanta. We are so grateful for all those who came and supported this important cause. A special thanks to Smitty’s and Beyond Revealed Media for hosting this event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
